Hello

I am a materials engineer graduate from the University of Alberta (2015) and am presently finishing my masters of engineering, in welding engineering, also at the UofA. I have worked in the consulting industry in Calgary, since 2015. Most of my career has been serving the oil and gas industry, however, I have also seen a broad range of projects outside of oil and gas, such as structural fabrication, aerospace, municipal waterworks, and automotive. I enjoy implementing theoretical knowledge and calculations to efficiently solve welding problems, rather than a trial and error approach. I am never satisfied with answers such as "that's the way it's done" or "that is what the code book says"; instead I strive to bring solutions that are practical and effective. I will be the first to point out that sometimes the "correct way" to do something is not the best way, and I will find a way to make the best way possible.
